April 6: Summer B Online / Revised Dates for Summer A, B and C
UF will continue online delivery of coursework during the Summer B term, as has been announced for the Summer A and Summer C terms.
The Summer B term is being shifted to start one week later than had been previously announced in the academic calendar. This shift will also affect some Summer C dates as indicated below. Summer B Classes will begin on July 6 instead of on June 29.
Other important dates to note:
- Advance Registration will continue through July 1
- Regular Registration for Summer B will be July 2
- Classes Begin July 6
- Drop/Add July 6-7
- Late Registration July 6-7
- Non-degree Registration July 6-7
- Withdrawal from all Summer B courses with No Fee Liability July 7
- Degree Applications for Summer B and Summer C: July 29
- S/U Grade Option July 15
- Withdrawal with 25% Refund July 15
- Fee Payments July 17
- Residency Reclassifications July 17
- Honors Theses due to College Advising Offices August 5 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Drop Deadline August 7 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Withdrawal Deadline August 7 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Faculty Course Evaluation Period August 8 — August 15 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Drop or Add a Course After the Drop/Withdrawal Deadline August 14 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Withdraw from all Summer B courses after the Drop/Withdrawal Deadline August 14 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Classes End August 14 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Reading Days: None
- Final Exams: in class
- Degree Status available: August 19 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Final Grades available August 20 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- Faculty Course Evaluations Available to Instructors: August 20 (Summer C will change to this date also)
- This change will also alter the end of the summer C calendar. It will now end on August 14, and Summer C classes will take a two week break June 22nd through July 3rd.
We thank you for your flexibility in accommodating this shift, since we believe pushing the start date of summer B back by a week will make it easier on students and faculty as the peak Coronavirus incidence rate declines.
